The Anna Broome Room is a monthly, free-to-the-public, variety performance-art show highlighting Arts District talent in the genres of music, poetry, spoken word, dance and theatre. Every month a poetic theme guides artists to create new work every month.
The solo-concert series, The Broome Closet, headlines an individual artist or group musicians for that month’s show. All genres of performance art including stage art and live painting are included in most shows.
The Anna Broome Room thanks all Arts District participants over the last ten years. While there are too many to name independently, we are a family devoted to great performance art and community. Recognized by the City of Los Angeles for contribution to Community and Performance Art, The Anna Broome Room looks forward to another ten years!
